Is anyone else locked out from replying (and marking comments as spam) on some pages? I can't on the newest comic or the "new spam blocker" news post.
Well...
... looks like I have something new to look into.
I can reply in this one, but
I can reply in this one, but not mark spam messages (like all of the ones added since you posted this).
Ditto for me
No link to report spam...
Apparently...
... the new version I installed, while it has some extra tools that makes *my* life a little easier, has removed the tools I need to give registered users the permissions they need to mark spam. I'll be logging a bug against that.:)
spam reporting
so we can't mark spam, like the two posts above. Oh, well, hope you get the bug fixed soon.

I think...
... I'm going to revert to the older version.
Well...
... I think I fixed it. Maybe.
OK, it's not fixed...
... the fix I thought I put in place allowed registered users to mark comments as spam. It also, unfortunately, allowed registered users to mark articles -- including my comics -- as spam. That's... not what I was going for.
So at the moment that has been disabled.

Well, at least the spammers have only been targeting this one thread.... (But 160 times?)
JTD has publically stated that he's got all of the things turned on that cause search engines to ignore his forums and not index anything -- maybe you have to do the same.

Hm...
... what are those things?
JTD's comments
I asked over on his forum and he replied here with some good info:

I hope some of his experiences are applicable to you...
