ALAN: All right, this is ridiculous. Now I'm getting calls that LARRY is down, and I -- Jack, what are you doing?

JACK: Installing Gentoo on Larry.

ALAN: WHAT? Jack,t hose two tied up Moe for THREE DAYS trying to install Gentoo on it. I can't afford to go through this again!

JACK: That's just it, man. They were trying to install too much. File servers don't need all the junk that comes with a full install... so I'm showing them how to do a stripped-down install that has all the essentials and none of the fluff. Should take less than an hour.

(Silence.)

ALAN: I bet it takes you at least half a day.

JACK: You're on, man.
