VIKTOR SCHRECK: Your Honor, I regret to inform you that we are withdrawing our suit.

JUDGE: What?

ADALAI FOULE: What?

VIKTOR SCHRECK: After evaluating the case, Ubersoft has decided to offer to settle this matter out of court. As both the plaintiff and the defendant in this case, I approached myself with my offer earlier today, and after some consideration I grudgingly agreed to its terms.

VIKTOR SCHRECK: Ubersoft will not admit that I am innocent, but will waive any and all charges they’ve brought against me and will agree not to prosecute me for them in the future. I will not admit any guilt, but will agree and state on the record that intellectual property is very important and that Ubersoft has every right to defend it vigorously.

(Silence.)

VIKTOR SCHRECK: If that is unacceptable to you, I suppose I could introduce some more "secret evidence" and --

JUDGE: Case dismissed.

I think the judge is just going to drink himself into a stupor and then never think about this case again. Either that, or be haunted by it.
