ADALAI FOULE: Your Honor, before I begin my opening statement I would like to move that this case be dismissed immediately.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: I object!
JUDGE: You can't object to a motion, Mr. Schreck. Mr Foule, what are the grounds for this motion?
ADALAI FOULE: The grounds are that the prosecutor and the defendant are the same person. This is a clear conflict of interest.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: It is only a conflict of interest from the perspective of the plaintiff, Your Honor. As a defendant I have no direct involvement in the case. And Ubersoft has written a letter stating that they are not opposed to my representing them in this matter. I have submitted this letter as evidence. Exhibit A.
(Silence.)
VIKTOR SCHRECK: Also, this effectively guarantees that whatever the outcome of the case I am going to lose.
JUDGE: Motion denied.

locating strips that need transcribing
OK, so if one is interested in helping you transcribe, what's the fastest way to locate a strip (or the "next" strip) that needs a transcription posted? (Short of starting at either end of the archives and working one's way thru them?) Thanks.

Thanks for asking!
Just asking...
Why do we need a transcript when all the words are already visible in the strip itself?
Just thought I would ask...
But then, some people insist upon wearing both a belt and suspenders to hold their trousers up...

You don't *need* it, but
You don't *need* it, but having the transcript available makes it possible to search the comics. If you were, for example, looking for a comic based on a punchline you remembered, you could enter that into the search bar instead of having to page through the entire archives.
OK...
OK... I'll accept that. Makes sense... However, it is more fun going through all of the earlier strips again! But then I am a devoted fan!

Well, my last name's not Nale, but I'll help out where I can... a search feature is great.
But yes, my first name really is David.
