NARRATOR: OFFENSE
VIKTOR SCHRECK: Our best hope of winning this case is to convince me to testify on my own behalf. it's easy to make a defendant look guilty no matter what he says.
NARRATOR: DEFENSE
ADALAI FOULE: We absolutely have to keep you off the witness stand. Ubersoft will twist everything you say to make you look guilty.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: Agreed.
NARRATOR: OFFENSE
ALICE: But how? You've been practicing law for too long to think that testifying on your own behalf will actually help your case.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: True. We might have to smear my reputation before court begins. That will entice me to get on the stand in order to "set the record straight."
NARRATOR: DEFENSE
ADALAI FOULE: They may try to draw you out on the stand by spreading lies and innuendo before the trial begins... to goad you into taking the stand to clear your reputation.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: It won't work. Lies and innuendo will only enhance my reputation.
NARRATOR: OFFENSE
ALICE: But won't lies and innuendo only enhance your reputation?
VIKTOR: That depends on the specifics of the lies and innuendo.
NARRATOR: DEFENSE
ADALAI FOULE: Ubersoft is claiming you love children and small dogs.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: Calumny and lies!

Brilliant
This may, in fact, supplant the OSWC strip featuring the GoDot reference as my favorite comic you've ever done. The malicious Laurel and Hardy flavor of it is just wonderful.
I love it!!!
I love it!!!
Lies and conspiracies!
This comic goes great with the latest news title "The Trouble With Being A Solo Act" :)
Side note: The transcript would make more sense if the Narrator's lines were at the start of each panel rather than at the end.
see above
agreed.
Wonderful, though, keep it up!
I see your point.
Yes, it works better with the narrator text ahead of the dialog.
Thanks for the advice!

Today, Saturday 23rd, www.ubersoft.net and the "home" buttons take you to the "Don't panic page" :-(
Should be fixed now.
I'm not entirely sure what happened, but it ought to be back to normal at this point.
