ALEX: Under normal circumstances the Boss would never be affected by Scott's attempt to lead him down the path of righteousness... but in his weakened state, Scott just might pull this off.

MONK: What do we do?

ALEX: We've got to keep Scott away from the Boss until we can find a way to re-enforce the Boss' natural evil inclinations. If not... we might find ourselves working at a company that strives for quality.

MONK: But then we might have to abandon our lives of apathetic leisure and actually start working!

ALEX: We can't let that happen. You know what to do.
