VIKTOR SCHRECK: No.

ALEX: Even though it was a software error that put him there in the first place?

VIKTOR SCHRECK: Well, we were contemplating laying him off anyway, so we feel it's all for the best.

ALEX: All for the best??? For who???

VIKTOR SCHRECK: Since this gets us out of paying unemployment insurance, I guess the honest answer is "me."
