Before I published this comic I had absolutely no knowledge about the webcomic Megatokyo. After I posted this one, I became suddenly and uncomfortably aware of the comic when I was inundated by Megatokyo fans accusing me of plagarizing this episode.
They are, admittedly, basically the same gag -- but we were both parodying the "does anyone speak Jive?" gag from Airplane! Still, it bothered me enough to email the creators and apologize for the unintentional but undeniable similarities.
