ALEX: You're suing me because of my name?
APPLE LEGAL: That's right. Apple spent a lot of time promoting the name "iMacs," and we can't afford for you to dilute our trademark in any way.
ALEX: Dilute? How can I dilute your trademark?
APPLE LEGAL: Well, your name is very similar. If you were, say, at a bar, and you were very drunk, and you were behaving like an idiot, and someone asked you what your name was, if you slurred the name "Alex" just right it would sound like "iMacs."
ALEX: You've got to be joking.
APPLE LEGAL: We will NOT have people associate our product with your drunken boorishness.
