ALEX: Well, I haven't personally. But Ubersoft is aware of your online transactions.

CUSTOMER: Exactly how do you manage this?

ALEX: Well, our "Uberclick" banner ad system places a "cookie" in your web browser, allowing us to track all your online activities. We match that up with our database of real world names and addresses, and suddenly we know who you are and what you're doing.

CUSTOMER: I thought you guys promised never to do that?

ALEX: How do I put this? We lied.
