KING: Hey Alex, any more gossip on the DOJ/Ubersoft trial?
ALEX: Not really. Management is keeping pretty quiet, considering the DOJ rejected their settlement offers and the judge found them guilty. All they'll say is that they made very effort to come to a reasonable compromise, and the DOJ's rejection of their proposal was terribly unfair.
NARRATOR: WEEKS EARLIER
VIKTOR SCHRECK: Here it is: We make vague promises to change our ways, but continue to claim that we've never done anything wrong... and continue to do what we've always done without regard for the law or the common good.
