CUSTOMER: What's this box of text that comes up when I try to install UberWord 2001?
ALEX: That's the End User License Agreement.
ALEX: In order to install and use the program, you must first agree never to hold Ubersoft responsible for any bugs in the software, no matter how serious they may be. You are also forbidden to modify this program once you've installed and used it. Furthermore, we reserve the right to use our program to spy on you while you work, monitor your work and play habits, and target you for future unspecified marketing drivel.
CUSTOMER: So if I click "OK" it'll just go away, right?
ALEX: That's right. It'll just go away.
